You don't need to go to university or get a degree to learn something new, whatever your subject of interest is, we have something for you.
We have been offering practical learning experiences to the Sydney community since 1986. We offer a wide range of on-campus and online courses - with over 1,200 classes each year; there’s something for everyone, from Arts to Business, Language, Lifestyle, and Sports & Fitness.
Our main campus is in Rozelle, NSW, only 5 minutes away from Sydney CBD. Our rooms include a visual art space, professional training space, and on-site parking.
Please note: Sydney Community College is not a university and is not a registered CRICOS provider in NSW for international students.
Our face-to-face short courses offer hands-on learning experiences in visual arts, handcrafts, music, and photography, focusing on improving students’ creativity and skills development.
We also offer fitness and meditation classes to improve mental and physical health.
We schedule our courses in classrooms or studios suitable to the study subject; the length of each class varies from 3 hours up to 18 hours. No prior qualifications or assessments are required to enrol with us.
Our online courses focus on professional development, business management skills and personal investments, including learning a new language, starting a small business, and developing digital marketing skills.
We also offer introductory level courses to the world of investment in financial assets such as the stock market and cryptocurrency.
These courses are delivered live online via Zoom. Students will benefit from live interaction with a professional tutor and each other. No prior qualifications or assessments are required to enrol with us.
Sydney Community College serves the community by offering affordable and subsidised educational programs.
These courses focus on providing education to community groups facing barriers to entering the workforce, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, migrants, refugees, and students with disability.
The College offers a Tech Savvy Seniors program that focuses on developing the computing skills of senior community members.
We also offer special discounts for health care card holders, pensioners, and seniors.
