What you'll learn
Learn the art of performing a story with our acting courses in Sydney!
Sydney Community College is proud to present this acting course in partnership with Darlo Drama.
Improve your characterisation skills, become well-versed in establishing theatrical relationships, and build your confidence on stage by performing in front of an audience! This course will give you a fundamental understanding of the processes involved in staging a play, such as working as an ensemble, script analysis, props and costuming, and blocking. The main focus of this acting course is the final production: a series of excerpts from several different plays, performed to an audience of family, friends, and fellow students.
During this acting course, you should progress from performing a single scene to performing an entire play.
These classes will finally culminate in two weekend performances on Darlo Drama's Studio Theatre stage!
