If you're looking to style your house, and achieve the highest sales price possible, then this is the course is for you!
In this course, you'll learn to present and prepare your home before putting it up for sale in order to achieve the highest possible price and sell quickly.
Make the first impression count! Buyers will form an opinion within the first 30 seconds of viewing your home and only 10% can visualize the potential of an un-styled home.
Learn how to declutter and create excellent first impressions through curb appeal. You’ll select the right lighting and window treatments in order to prepare your home for sale. Not to forget how to use the right soft furnishing without overloading the room. During this course, the intention is that the following topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. Due to the variable nature of adult education classes, parts of the curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

James said: I was very impressed how Ingrid took us through each room in the house - including the front and rear garden - and the garage, and explained how to declutter and depersonalise your house before sale. Also, how it is possible to 'rebalance' your room presentations using your existing furniture rather than hiring display furniture. But the biggest takeaway was siimply that once you decide to sell, you need to treat it as a business. Very good advice!

Rose-Marie said: Ingrid gives an excellent overview of what to expect, what to prepare for and how to execute the preparation for styling a home or apartment intending to be put on the market. She puts great emphasis on practicality and detail and the fact that a little elbow grease goes a long way in setting the ground work for the more decorative aspect of tweeking and styling the home. I would have liked more class participation other than a Q. and A.; perhaps attempting to create personal displays from the myriad accessories Ingrid brought to class or asking for personal responses as we went along. That said, the class was lively and eager for information.
