She puts great emphasis on practicality and detail and the fact that a little elbow grease goes a long way in setting the ground work for the more decorative aspect of tweeking and styling the home. I would have liked more class participation other than a Q. and A.; perhaps attempting to create personal displays from the myriad accessories Ingrid brought to class or asking for personal responses as we went along. That said, the class was lively and eager for information.
