Learning Membership Policy

Discount Entitlements

Learning Members are entitled to a 15% discount on Sydney Community College courses within the Learning Membership program.

• Learning Members who also hold a Seniors card or Health card are entitled to a 20% discount on all Sydney Community College courses.
• Concession holders that already receive a 20% discount are not entitled to any further discounts (aside from last-minute Learning Member discounts), but will still receive other benefits associated with the Learning Membership if they choose to purchase.
• This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount.
• The Learning Membership program is not designed for group bookings — members cannot apply a discount on behalf of multiple people. It is designed to be used on an individual basis.

Enrolments

Learning Membership does not guarantee that you will obtain a spot in a scheduled course. All enrolments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Members are subject to the standard College course cancellation and withdrawal policy.

Discretionary Discounts

The College is entitled to discount any course, at any time, for any amount for the benefit of members only. The College has absolute discretion to add or remove courses from the Learning Membership discount at any time.

Excluded Courses

The Learning Member discount is available for the vast majority of courses offered by the College. In some cases, where a class is supplied by an external organisation, the discount will not be applied. This is made clear below the "Enrol Now" button. See Learning Membership Exclusions for a list of excluded courses.

Termination

Sydney Community College may terminate a Learning Membership if a member fails to comply with these terms and conditions or misuses Learning Membership privileges.

Refunds and Expiry

• Learning Memberships cannot be returned, refunded, or redeemed for cash.
• The expiry date of an annual Learning Membership cannot be paused or suspended.
• A Learning Membership will be considered "expired" if not renewed by the due date.
• A Learning Membership is different from a Company Membership and does not extend any of the benefits or responsibilities of a Company Membership.

Changes to Benefits

Current Learning Membership benefits are as advised in this policy and in email marketing. They may be changed from time to time by Sydney Community College at its absolute discretion.
