Anne Kwasner
Anne Kwasner has enjoyed teaching young people, adults and adults with disabilities at a community level for over 15 years. She works in a variety of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking, to ceramics.
Her extensive experience is combined with her high credentials, including training at Julian Ashton Art School, The School of Colour and Design and East Sydney Technical College. Anne has completed an Honours degree in Fine Arts and a Masters in the discipline of ceramics at the National Art School.
Thanks to Anne's classical training at Julian Ashton her work takes a focus on anatomy, life drawing and lots of still-life painting. However, her experience with her own practice and further studies has broadened her approach.
Anne loves drawing and will always be a firm believer in its importance in contemporary art practice. Through her teaching, she delivers a balance of fundamentals while encouraging her students' vision to come to life.
