Payal Bhargava
Payal is an experienced crochet teacher, designer, and mindful craft practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in crochet and textile arts. After many years working in publishing and business development — including within the art and craft magazine industry — she turned to crochet as a creative and restorative escape from the fast pace of corporate life.
Today, Payal runs her own mindful craft business, where she combines creativity, relaxation, and community through crochet and slow handcraft practices. Passionate about the calming and meditative qualities of making by hand, she believes crochet offers a powerful way to slow down, focus, and reconnect creatively.
Known for her warm, encouraging teaching style, Payal creates supportive classes where students can relax, learn new skills, and enjoy the shared experience of crafting together. Alongside teaching, she also designs her own crochet projects inspired by colour, texture, and pattern, encouraging students to develop confidence and express their creativity stitch by stitch.
