Nola Dennis
Nola Dennis has worked across the Australian fashion industry for more than three decades as a fashion designer, production manager, patternmaker, and garment specification technician. Throughout her career, she has combined technical expertise with a passion for creating beautifully fitting garments, working across every stage of the design and production process.
She has held senior roles with leading Australian and international fashion brands including Kangarucci, Levi Strauss, Reebok Australia, and Camilla & Marc, and currently works in the design and manufacturing team for the company behind Glue Store. Alongside her industry roles, Nola has worked extensively as a freelance patternmaker, developing patterns for a wide range of fashion labels and garment types.
Nola has also shared her expertise with the next generation of designers, teaching patternmaking at respected fashion colleges including Raffles College and the KVB Design Institute. In addition, she creates costumes for theatrical productions through the costume department at Knox Grammar School, bringing her technical skills to the world of performance and costume design.
Passionate about helping others create garments that fit beautifully, Nola combines industry knowledge with a practical, supportive teaching style. Her classes give students the confidence to understand how patterns work, solve fitting challenges, and develop the technical skills needed to create clothing tailored to their own body.
