The Modern Desi Co

The Modern Desi Co

Bhavna is a passionate home cook and food educator who loves connecting people and cultures through Indian cuisine. Through her business, Modern Desi Co, she shares the rich flavours, traditions, and stories behind Indian cooking while encouraging people to explore beyond the dishes they may already know.

Drawing on family traditions, personal experience, and a deep love of food, Bhavna teaches with warmth, enthusiasm, and a strong focus on approachable, flavourful home cooking. Her classes combine practical cooking skills with storytelling, helping students better understand the ingredients, spices, and techniques that make Indian cuisine so vibrant and diverse.

Bhavna’s workshops are welcoming, hands-on, and full of delicious aromas, giving students the confidence to recreate authentic Indian dishes and bring more flavour into their everyday cooking.
