FFB Dragon Boating Club

FFB Dragon Boat Club is a welcoming, inclusive sporting club based in the picturesque surrounds of Iron Cove in Sydney’s Inner West. The club prides itself on strong team spirit and a commitment to supporting paddlers of all abilities and backgrounds.

A team of experienced, qualified coaches from FFB Dragon Boat Club will be your tutors for this course:

Ken Tinyow is Head Coach of the FFB Dragon Boating coaching team. Ken started paddling over 30 years ago and has supported the sport as Coach and Head Coach in multiple regional and state campaigns.

Tammy Brown has been involved in dragon boating for over 15 years. In this time she has represented NSW as a paddler, was the Assistant Coach for the NSW State team in 2024 and Region vs Region Assistant Coach in 2025. Tammy was also the Premier Aurora Team Manager in 2025-25. 

Micah Kelly is an experienced paddler who has been selected to represent NSW and Australia in numerous campaigns. Micah is passionate about fitness, overall well-being and bringing the best out of every paddler.

Vicki McLean started dragon boating in 2005, and through the sport has taken part in regattas and races across Australia and the world. Vicki is one of the FFB Coaches and Sweep extraordinaire, steering the boat to podium finishes in numerous regattas.

Anthony Pun has accumulated over 20 years’ experience as a paddler, Sweep and Coach in dragon boating. In this time Anthony has coached community college, corporate and community teams, many of these novice paddlers developing a lifetime passion for the sport.
