About Clare Pickering
Clare is an award-winning actor, writer and director who has worked in numerous theatre, television and film productions in Australia and the UK. She is the writer, actor, producer & director of short films Sisterly Love, Ladonna Marie and The Enigma, and her debut solo theatre show Doing Time With Number 5, which she performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Theatre directing credits include Electro Girl, One Grated Carrot at a Time and Don’t Get Carried Away.
Clare has extensive experience in the corporate, not-for-profit and government sectors as a strategic content expert. She specialises in content design, technical writing, copywriting, instructional design, documentation, proofreading and editing.
Clare has been the Script Writer in Residence at Howard Fine Studios Australia Scratch Nights since 2019. She created her Storytelling courses and workshops to empower people to find their voice and share their stories with the world.
Clare believes stories matter and the world is a better place when we find the courage to tell them.
