Peggy Tang

Peggy Tang has been actively practising Ikebana for more than 10 years and is a certified Instructor of the Ohara School of Ikebana. She currently serves as the Recording Secretary of the Ohara School of Ikebana Sydney Chapter.

She has further advanced her expertise at the Ikebana World Seminar in Osaka, Japan, and continues to deepen her knowledge and practice through ongoing studies. She has exhibited her work in various Ikebana exhibitions and has introduced Ikebana to the wider community during demonstrations. At these events, she shares not only the beauty of the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement but also the philosophy and cultural traditions that underpin the practice of Ikebana.

Her teaching style is approachable and practical, guiding students to appreciate the essence of form, space, and seasonality. She encourages students to experience Ikebana as a way to connect with nature and discover calmness and mindfulness through creative expression.
