About Gary Cunliffe
Gary Cunliffe is an award-winning creative director and educator who helps small business owners make their value instantly clear. He has 30+ years’ experience across brand, advertising and content, including creative lead roles at Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Ogilvy.
Gary has also run his own small business for 15 years, producing work for iconic brands such as Reebok, Weet-Bix and Westpac, as well as smaller operators and startups including lawn services, professional indexers, wine distributors, and design studios.
Having worked with both global brands and small businesses, Gary’s seen that many marketing pain points are the same — especially the challenge of making your value clear quickly.
Today, Gary works as a creative consultant in an advertising agency and teaches at TAFE NSW (Design Centre Enmore), where the focus is vocational: real outcomes, not theory. He brings award-winning effectiveness into the classroom—so participants leave with messaging foundations they can apply immediately to support business growth.
