Dani Andres is currently completing his Bachelor in Exercise Science and Bachelor in Physical Education degrees at the Australian Catholic University (ACU).
Experience
Dani has extensive experience as a health and fitness educator including roles as head swimming coach at the Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre, head coach of the Pulse Triathlon Club, head coach of athletics and swimming at Kincoppal Rose Bay, and cycling coach for the National Talent Identification and Development (NTID) program.
Achievements
Dani has been coaching in triathlon, swimming and athletics for over 10 years. His coaching credits include the following
- World junior duathlon champion;
- Silver Comm games marathon;
- Runner-up world duathlon champion;
- Three national triathlon champions;
- Two runner-up world junior triathlon champions;
- Under-23 elite duathlon bronze medallist;
- 800m,1500m, 3km and Cross country State and National Champions.
Dani continues to compete as an elite athlete and has represented Australia at eight World Duathlon and Triathlon Championships. His personal athletic achievements in duathlon and triathlon include:
- 35-39 age group (AG) 2008 national duathlon champion;
- 2nd Australian (22nd 35-39AG), 2008 World Duathlon Championships;
- 2nd Australian overall (13th 35-39AG), 2007 World Duathlon Championships;
- 1st Australian, 2006 World Duathlon Championships;
- 18th 35-39AG, 2006 World Long Course Triathlon Championships.
Dani’s other athletic achievements include
- 1st place, 1986 Ultimo 8km fun run;
- 1st place, 1992 2ws half marathon( course record);
- 1st place, 2008 Maroubra 4km Fun Run (course record);
- 4 × 3rd place, Sydney Centre Point Tower Run Up;
- 7th place, 2010 Coastal Classic ( Trail);
- 4th place AG,2011 Hong Kong Marathon;
- 1st place, 2013 Mudgee Marathon;
- 4th place AG, 2014 Oceania and Australian National Duathlon Champs;
- 1st place, 2015 Glenbrook 25km Trail( course record);
- 2nd place, 2015 Mudgee Marathon;
- 2015 State Champion AG, Duathlon;
- 10th place, 2015 North Face 50km (trail).

- 42.2km, 2:28:53 (1993);
