Through interactive, conversation-focused classes, you'll gain confidence speaking, listening, reading, and writing while developing practical French you can use in real life.

During the course, participants will be guided through key concepts, techniques and approaches that typically include:

• Describing people, places, and experiences
• Travel, accommodation, and getting around
• Work and everyday situations
• Dining out, shopping, and leisure activities
• Health, wellbeing, and everyday needs

Grammar concepts may include:

• Present tense revision and consolidation
• Regular verb conjugations (-er, -ir, -re)
• Common irregular verbs including avoir, aller, venir, and prendre
• Future expressions using aller
• Sentence structure and word order
• Negation, question forms, and gender agreement
• Common prepositions and everyday expressions

Content may vary slightly depending on class pace, participant interests, and instructor approach.

To enrol in this course, it is recommended that you:

• Have completed our Beginner French course or have equivalent proficiency

Students who attend at least 80% of classes will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Sydney Community College.
