What you'll learn
Learn to perform with Acting Classes for Beginners in Sydney, part of our progressive acting short course program.
Act II builds on the foundational skills developed in Act I and moves towards the art of delivering a confident and compelling solo performance. Over 10 weeks, you’ll refine your voice, movement, acting technique, stagecraft, and script analysis skills while learning how to hold an audience’s attention on your own.
Through guided exercises, coaching, and focused rehearsals, you’ll explore how to fully inhabit a character, find emotional truth in your work, and perform with clarity and intention. Working closely with a chosen script, you’ll bring your monologue to life using imagination, precision, and expressive control.
In Week 10, you’ll present your monologue in a final performance for family, friends, and fellow students, an inspiring celebration of your growth, individuality, and confidence as a performer.
