Lorraine said: I have enjoyed the opportunity to learn a new skill that has a practical application. So much so that I have enrolled to do the Auslan Introduction Part 2 due to start in May.
-
Gladys said: I have the opportunity to understand more about the Deaf Community. One of the things I like is that the teacher is deaf so, that make me want to practice more so I can communicate with her. Another thing I like is that the class are no too big so it feels like a one-to-one lecture. Finally, the material in the first course is something I could use in a every day conversation about family, describe things, to say hello and so for.

Kena said: It was amazing to hold [basic] conversations with classmates and Chris our teacher in the final lesson's socialising, and really cool to see everyone's progression from zero knowledge to basic conversation. The content was really relevant, especially the food and shopping segment, but I think being introduced to the Deaf community was special enough!

jess said: Loved this course. Auslan is a truly amazing language! The instructor was awesome but as everything is signed, needs to put more instructions in the chat as sometimes we were put into break out groups and not sure what we were doing
