What you'll learn

Ready to take the next step after Introduction to Auslan 1? This Level 2 course is designed for learners with a basic foundation in Auslan who want to expand their vocabulary, develop stronger conversational skills, and communicate more naturally.

Taught by Deaf tutors, you'll build on your existing signing skills through visual, interactive learning and practical conversation practice. You'll begin moving beyond basic signs and short exchanges, developing your ability to ask and respond to questions, share information, and take part in longer signed interactions.

As your skills develop, you'll strengthen both your expressive signing and your ability to understand Auslan used by others. You'll also continue exploring facial expression, body movement, fingerspelling, and visual communication strategies while deepening your understanding of Deaf culture and communication.

Whether you're continuing for personal interest, work, or to connect more meaningfully with Deaf people in your community, this course will help you communicate with greater confidence and prepare you to continue developing your Auslan skills.
