In these ukulele lessons for beginners, you will learn about the history, its parts and, of course, how to play this popular stringed instrument.

The step by step instruction from a talented musician will give you the ability and confidence to play simple tunes. In this course, you'll learn the basics of the ukulele and be introduced to the endless amount of music you can create and play. Additionally, you will have the knowledge and skills to continue with self-directed learning after the course.

  • Play a few different strum styles relevant to the song style and tempo
  • Read song sheets written for the ukulele.

  • Please bring your own instrument to class.
  • Handouts in printed or digital form. With your enrolment confirmation, you will receive a link to download your handouts for the class. Please come prepared and have the copy ready for the class.
