My teaching style –
I remember wanting to understand cameras and photography and the incredible feeling when it all ‘clicked’ during a beginners class. I want to help others feel that excitement and all that has come since, as I explore and experiment with this art form. I like to include things in class to inspire and challenge you as a complement to the more technical side of the course. Homework and assignments are based around things that really interest you. Whether its getting just the right photo of your own family or your annual holiday, or something more artistic, my aim is to give you the confidence and basic skills to be able to use whatever equipment you have to capture impressive images that people will comment on and you will treasure.
Something unique or unusual that people might not know about me –
I have been to 50 countries, and each of the 7 continents, next on the list are China and Myanmar. I once woke up next to a seal in Antarctica.
