What you'll learn
Learn pottery in our pottery short courses in Sydney.
In this 3 hour course, you will learn and master two different hand-building techniques: slab and coil.
You will make a slab box with a lid and a coil vase or a pot of your own design. No previous experience is necessary.
All of your materials for this class are included in the course fee, but please note, it does not include glazing. Glazing can be done in an additional returning student class after your pieces have been dried and bisque fired in 2 weeks after your first class.

Who is this intermediate pottery course for?
This course is for students who have completed our Pottery & Ceramics Course: Hand Building for Beginners, or those who are interested in working with clay.

Parking
Please note, there is 2 hours of free street parking on Hayberry street, a 1-minute walk from the studio, available, as well as 2 hours of free parking at Woolworths across the street from the studio.

Additional information
Please note the following:
- Please don’t wear your best clothing! Clay will wash out, but it’s better to wear some older clothes
- If you have long hair, please tie it back
- Wear closed-in shoes
- Nails need to be trimmed
- You will need to return a week after the last class to collect your pieces. You will be able to discuss this with your teacher
