Alison Anderson

Alison has been practising and teaching Chen Tai Chi for more than 13 years, having trained with a range of respected Chinese Chen Tai Chi practitioners. Her studies include traditional Chen forms, sword, long and short staff, push hands, and silk-reeling exercises.

Her interest in holistic health and energy practices began over 30 years ago while studying Oriental health therapies and qualifying as an integrated body massage therapist. Through her Tai Chi practice, Alison developed a deep appreciation for the connection between mindful movement, balance, and overall wellbeing.

Alison's classes combine the physical, energetic, and meditative aspects of Tai Chi in a way that is accessible, practical, and enjoyable. She is known for her clear, supportive teaching style, helping students of all experience levels develop confidence, improve their movement, and experience the many health benefits of this ancient practice.
