What you'll learn
Find calm, clarity, and gentle strength through Tai Chi with our sport & fitness short courses in Sydney!
Step away from the noise of daily life and into a practice that restores balance—both physically and mentally. Tai Chi is often described as “meditation in motion,” combining slow, flowing movements with mindful breathing to help you feel more centred, relaxed, and in control of your body.
In this beginners course, you’ll be guided through the foundations of Tai Chi in a supportive and welcoming environment. You’ll learn how to release unnecessary tension, improve your posture, and move with greater ease and coordination. Each class offers space to slow down, focus your mind, and reconnect with your body in a way that feels natural and sustainable.
We teach the Chen style of Tai Chi, known for its smooth, spiral (“silk-reeling”) movements. While Tai Chi is often seen as a gentle exercise, it is also a rich and structured practice with roots in both healing and martial traditions. This course introduces these elements in an accessible and practical way, focusing on how the movements feel rather than complex theory.
Whether you’re looking to manage stress, support your physical wellbeing, or simply try something new, Tai Chi offers a practice that can stay with you long after the course ends.
