The Seniors Health & Fitness Package is a great unique exercise programme designed for members of the community who are over 50 years of age. This package incorporates a combination of exercises to strengthen your health, body and mind.
In the heart of the inner west of Sydney, your tutor will guide you through a combination of cardiovascular and resistance training to enhance your overall health.

Course content
What will be covered in this Seniors Health & Fitness Package course?
This course has been designed to help you reach your fitness goals:
- Feeling and looking fitter
- Better flexibility, mobility and balance
- Better management of arthritis, diabetes and blood pressure
- Lowered risk of stroke and heart disease
Course venue
This course is offered at two venues. Check the class information to see the location of your course.
Outdoor course at Camperdown Tennis Centre
Our outdoor fitness class takes place at Camperdown Tennis and the surrounding Camperdown Park. The centre is located in the back of the old Camperdown Bowling Centre at 33 Mallett Street, Camperdown NSW 2050.
The gate at the Tennis Centre will remain locked until your tutor arrives each morning. If you arrive early please wait at the gate for David to arrive. On rainy days classes will go ahead as they take place in the tennis centre under the large covered area.
Indoor course at Rozelle Campus
We also run an indoor option in our big hall at our Rozelle Campus, which is located at 2A Gordon Street, Rozelle NSW 2039 (no access via Victoria Rd).
Course materials
What to bring to class
- A pair of dumbbells
- An exercise mat (a yoga mat or similar)
- Light resistance muscle band
- Small resistance bands
- Water
- Towel
- Sunblock and hat (when necessary)
- Appropriate clothing for cooler months

Our sport & fitness short courses are designed to be fun and keep you healthy. A sensible step before you start is to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q)
PAR-Q is a self-screening tool that should be used by anyone planning to increase their physical activity. PAR-Q is designed to help you help yourself. It is a sensible first step if you are planning to increase your physical activity by enrolling in this course.
Please also note: Tutor David Middleton will be overseas from late June until mid-July, so there are no sessions scheduled during this time.
