What you'll learn
Learn to stay active, strong and connected with our fitness short courses in Sydney!
Staying active is one of the best investments you can make in your health, independence, and wellbeing. Designed especially for adults aged 50 and over, our Seniors Health & Fitness Program offers a fun, supportive, and welcoming way to improve your fitness while enjoying the company of others.
Led by an experienced instructor, each session combines gentle cardiovascular exercise, strength training, balance work, and stretching to help you move with greater confidence in everyday life. Exercises can be adapted to suit a range of fitness levels, allowing everyone to participate comfortably and progress at their own pace.
More than just an exercise class, this long-running program has become a valued social community where many participants return term after term to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy meaningful friendships. Whether you're returning to exercise, looking to maintain your mobility, or simply wanting a positive reason to get out each week, you'll be warmly welcomed. Classes are available both indoors at our Rozelle campus and at Camperdown Tennis Centre, where participants enjoy exercising in the fresh air with the reassurance of a large undercover area when needed.

Franca said: The members in the class group are a happy lot and very united (lots of team spirit) yet each is individualistic (each in their own mood and time) and you could not get a better tutor (predisposed to lead and go along with it). Don't kid yourself: this is a very fit group! Having fun while getting fit is what it's all about. The jovial nature and togetherness of the group continue after the course over coffee in the park (how keen is that?) for those that can stay on.

Janette said: David is a great coach who varies the exercises and routines. He is very happy to make adjustments/modifications where needed. David makes good use or the area.

Stephanie said: It has been a great course for me. Although its group oriented the personal attentions also present. You can work at your own pace and learn how to do each excersise correctly. Very happy even though I have to have short breaks every now and then. I can pick up the class and Excersises without feeling I have to start again. Love it.

Cheryl said: I have completed this course for the first time but it's more a life style choice with great facilitator and company, than a course. Staying active as one matures is crucial and this is fun and very social. Highly recommended.

Wendy said: Course instructor is helpful, professional and makes classes fun. Other participants are friendly and you learn easily.
